Multidisciplinary team working across different tumour types: Analysis of a national survey
2012, Annals of OncologyCitation Excerpt :There is evidence that the ability of an MDT to reach a decision on first-case presentation and ability of MDT decisions to be implemented appear to be a useful marker of the performance of the MDT [9]. Moreover, outcomes such as patient satisfaction and health care professional satisfaction are also increasingly seen as important measures of the effectiveness of health care [17, 18]. The findings reported here may have a role in improving the current ‘peer review’ process of MDT assessment.
