    The International Improvement Science Symposium brings together researchers and healthcare professionals to discuss how the latest innovations in scientific methodology can be used to transform outcomes for patients.

    The 2022 Symposium was held on Monday 20th June at the International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare in Gothenburg. The program highlighted four themes that explore how the science of improvement can help us thrive in our changing health and health care environment: what have we learned from the pandemic, moving care into the home, co-designing and personalising health, applying the science of improvement to digital health.

    The programme featured landmark research from leaders in the field, examples of successful projects from across the globe, and practical discussions on how to test and scale new ideas in practice.
