Welcome to BMJ Open Quality, the open-access journal of global quality improvement evidence and best practice. We aim to help healthcare professionals improve the services they deliver by reporting on successful and unsuccessful improvement projects from around the world, using the SQUIRE structure for consistent and clear documenting. Submissions are only accepted through the BMJ Quality platform, which ensures we keep our processing times low, acceptance rates high and the published reports easily searchable. Users are provided with online workbooks, which give a simple way to structure their report as well as offering step-by-step guidance and skills development to those new to Quality Improvement during their project. Over 20 learning resources, case examples and an on-call faculty of expert mentors are available to help.
